This is the reality of life, right? Everyone looking a bit crazy even while standing in front of the temple. Although most of life’s moments are not made up of the picture perfect portraits like the one below, it is through the real day-to-day challenges and joys of motherhood that our hearts and souls grow.
I am a wife, mother to 5 children, a daughter, sister to 5 and a follower of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important to me than the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to stay busy and my mind constantly dreams up another grand adventure like the one you are visiting right now. I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My mother comes from a long line of pioneer ancestors. My father who is Italian and Hawaii found the church while he was attending the local Boy Scouts of America troop. Over the next few years, his family was taught the gospel, after President Ezra Taft Benson spoke in Hawaii, my grandmother’s heart was touched and the entire family joined the church.
Today, I enjoy the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ because of those that had faith and endured to the end. I am so grateful for my family and for all of my ancestors who laid the ground work so that my own testimony could grow.
